So up until yesterday, these were my favorite pants. I never wear denim but these hardly count. Not only are they comfortable and flattering on my legs, but they also aren't plain jane like most jeans are. I've always been a fan of sticking out of a crowd and these definitely help me accomplish that. As I mentioned, these were my favorite until yesterday and this is because I received a package I've been waiting for for a little over a week now. In this package was the most gorgeous pair of high waisted houndstooth skinnies I've ever seen in my life. They fit amazing, looked amazing and needless to say, I cannot wait to wear them and show you guys... but let's be honest, by the time I get a post up, I'll probably have a new favorite. #shopaholicprobs

I love all my followers, I've honestly came across some of the nicest people ever on IG. I'm not lying when I say I like the people I "meet" on the Internet more than the people I know in real life.

Had a date night with my little sister on Friday. We went to Mongo's which was amazing, I haven't been in a couple years and I probably ate enough to make up for those two years haha. Finally got to wear these gorgeous JC wedges, thought they would be perfect with this orange blazer I recently got from Forever21. I made Madison, who NEVER wears heels, wear a pair of black wedges of mine so I wouldn't get so many stares. Sigh, if I only I lived in a city where dressing up and heels was socially acceptable outside of nightclubs. *Eyeroll* Hope everyone had a great weekend, xox!

So for anyone that follows me on Instagram (@jesika__), these photos are probably familiar. After taking these, I decided that I pretty much hated all my other blog photos and I went on a deleting rampage. These ones however, made the cut and I thought I'd share them with you guys. So yesterday at work, I broke one of my nails and instead of going to get them done AGAIN (I just went two fricken days ago), I bought a nail kit. I actually did a really good job, except my one new nail looked a lot wider than my other ones. The rest of them looked so thin and tiny on my finger, I guess cause the last time I got them done I went to a different girl than usual and she shaped them really narrow. Anyway, I hated how narrow they were and ended up taking them all off and now my heart is breaking looking at these photos compared to my current stubby fingers. I guess I'll give them a little break and then be back on the stiletto nail band wagon ASAP.

Here are a couple photos my beautiful little sister snapped for me before heading out for date night. I wanted to get a couple more but it was extremely hot and humid out and the lense kept fogging up. All that's really missing is my black cuffed shorts anyway, not really missing out on much. Being the inner fatty I am, I chose Italian and of course ordered a lasagna that could have easily fed two (which by the way it did, I didn't even come close to finishing). As promised in my last post, here is something I would wear on a casual day. I love this boxy tee from Forever 21, it's extremely forgiving which worked perfect for this particular day because I was already feeling bloated and I knew it would only get worse after committing carbicide. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Mine isn't quite over yet, I have tomorrow and Tuesday off. No work = more free time for me so expect another post shortly. xox

I'm baaaaaaaack! So after a 3 month(?) hiatus, I decided to restart up my blog. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a bit of a perfectionist and some of my past blog photos were kicking my OCD into overdrive. So, after some preparation, I've come up with a pretty good collection of photos that I'm happy to share with all of my followers once again. I've decided to take a bit of a different direction with my blog. I previously was only posting photo's of really fun, trendy outfits that I would wear out and was completely disregarding the other side of my wardrobe, which in actuality is the side that I wear the most. I have a 9-5 (actually 8-4) office job and I'll be honest, I hated dressing for it. In the last little while I've started experimenting with different looks and shying away from my typical tunic/cardi/leggings/flats combo. Although it's a very easy and comfortable look, I was neglecting a lot of the clothes that I spend most of my pay cheques on. So it's been my mission to jazz up my work (and casual) look and be a little more creative. I'm going to be posting a variety of different looks from now on, whether it's something I wore to the office, to the mall or running errands, or my personal favorite, what I like to call, my "play" clothes. I want to display my entire wardrobe and hopefully be able to provide a little inspiration. Hope you guys have an awesome week, ciao! xox
